Kinsale Community Hospital is part of the community service run by the HSE and can accommodate up to 40 residents for short stays such as periods of convalescence or respite care as well as long-term care options. Our doctors attend patients in the hospital regularly. We also facilitate outpatient appointments for our patients with a Consultant Geriatrician who attends the hospital each month.
Kinsale Day Care Centre is a purpose built centre which opened in 2011 and is located in the grounds of Kinsale Community Hospital. The centre is open Monday to Friday and caters for up to 20 people per day, providing medical and social supports for the older person living in Kinsale town and the surrounding area.
